What is Talk by LetBe.Ai?
It is a desktop app that lets you speak instead of type. Double-tap Ctrl in any app and talk, and your words appear in whatever field is focused, transcribed live on your own machine. When you pause, the last sentence is cleaned up, and it can be rewritten in the style you asked for or translated into another language.
Does my voice leave my computer?
No. The transcription runs on your own machine, with no cloud, no cost and no waiting. Only the finished sentence is sent for the clean-up step, and only when you pause. You can always keep your raw words instead.
Which apps does it work in?
Any app. It types into whatever field has your cursor, so there are no plugins and nothing to set up app by app. If you can click into it, you can talk into it.
Can I change the trigger?
Yes. Double-tap Ctrl is only the default, and you can set any key or combination of up to three. The command word is "letbe" by default and can be changed too, and the voice commands exist in your language.
What does it cost, and where can I get it?
Free to start. The local transcription is always free; only the clean-up step uses your LetBe.Ai wallet. Windows is available on the Microsoft Store and Linux as a deb package.
